Ted Drewes has been serving frozen custard in St. Louis since 1930. Their frozen specialties are called "concretes" because when you turn them upside down, you won't lose a drop due to how thick they are! You can create your own concoction from a list of fantastic ingredients or choose from existing favorites. Along with concretes, patrons can also choose from sundaes, cones, malts and shakes, floats, and ice cream sodas. All are delectable!
Ted Drewes has two locations, both located in South St. Louis. The South Grand location is open only in the summer months, but this one, the Chippewa location, is open February through December.
